You're probably already aware that Saudi Arabia has very strict rules on what people can and can't do: kissing in public can get you locked up, as well as drinking alcohol in certain places, or dressing inappropriately.
But I bet you didn't know that it's illegal to do a cheeky dab.
Yes, the small act of straightening one arm and bending another while lowering your head can put you in the crosshairs of the police in Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately for TV host, actor and up and coming singer, Abdallah Al Shaharani, he had to learn that the hard way.
The act seen in this video is what pricked the attention of authorities.
As you can see, the 10 second clip involves a jig and a boogie and then a quick dab which was received with encouraging cheers and shouts from the crowd. But authorities weren't happy, according to Okaz newspaper.

The Secretary-General of the National Committee for Drug Control Abdul-Ella Al-Sharif spoke to the paper, and said: "What the artist and the singer is contrary to the national strategy to combat drugs and with the standards of the National Committee to combat drugs, and directed to the security authorities to apply the laws and laws against them, and we monitor those who incite or advocate abuse of drugs on theatres or youth gathering or through social networking, stressing that the system will apply to everyone and does not exclude anyone."
The move is reportedly illegal in Saudi Arabia because it's considered a reference to weed, which is illegal in the Middle Eastern country.
The man at the centre of the debacle has tweeted an apology which reads: "Salam alaikum .. I am most apologetic to our wise government and my dear republic for the movement (Spontaneous and spontaneous) at the Taif Festival. Please accept my apologies."
Some people have posted their support, with one user saying: "And we will help you and Allah will you forgive and apologize to the men."
The concept of illegal dabbing was highlighted last year when two Nigerian women were pictured doing the move during their pilgrimage in Mecca. While some people welcomed the picture, others called the women 'devilish' and 'pagan worshippers'.
