Corpse of Child Saint Opens Her Eyes And I Need To Go To Bed

Corpse of Child Saint Opens Her Eyes And I Need To Go To Bed

A whole load of no thank you, madam.

So you're visiting a child saint at the Cathedral of Guadalajara in Mexico and then the demon opens its eyes. The child died 300 years ago, before Napoleon was floating about. Suffering from a monumental hangover, I'm not ready for this right now.

The preserved remains of Santa Inocencia (Saint Innocence) are encased in glass, and although this video is four years old, it doesn't change the fact it's bloody horrendous.

To be honest it's creepy as fuck without it opening its eyes. It has been wax-treated to preserve the body and looks like something you'd see in a horror movie.

Want to watch this shit-scary dead body open its eyes? Be my guest...

Quite a lot of people think it's a fake, while others think it's perhaps a sign of some description. If I was handed just those two possibilities, I would plump for the former. Furthermore, when you consider that frankly ridiculous credit, that would give the theory it's all bullshit more credence.

And what is the story behind Santa Inocencia? According to the Mirror, the most popular folkloric tale is that she wanted to take communion with her classmates but her dad forbade it.

It then suddenly gets pretty dark.

The nuns invited her to be included at the school behind her father's back and dad seemed to really bloody hate those Catholics so out of anger he stabbed his daughter to death. Reasonable.

She's now become a symbolic representation of the silent love of Christ.

But does this actually answer one of life's most important questions?

Why did the father stab his daughter to death??

TEQUILA!
