Perhaps you'll get on the show and your unbearable loneliness will come to an end.

If, like me, the closest thing in your life to a significant other is a four-pack of Galahad beer, then I've got some big news for you.

Single LADs reveal yourself, because Take Me Out is looking for contestants.

The Paddy McGuinness-fronted show is soon returning for its 10th series and producers are on the lookout for single men and women to apply.

Applicants of all ages are encouraged to apply, as long as they are over 18.

A spokesman for Thames TV said: "If you fancy your chances in the love lift or are willing to leave your light on to find love, apply now.

"Application forms for both girls and boys can be downloaded from itv.com/takemeout or requested from the above email addresses.

"We won't be accepting applications for long so recommend you get your form in as soon as possible if you are interested!

"If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us."

Blokes who want to go on can check out all the information here and single girls can find the relevant details here. Or go to itv.com/takemeout.

A while back we sat down with Paddy and he even revealed his favourite contestant on the show.

"I rehearse with the lads in the day," he told LADbible. "So I know what their party piece is going to be in the studio.

"I was talking to them all, running through the rounds, getting all the information, and then I came to the first guy and said, 'Right, all the girls are going to be stood there, what are you going to do to impress them?'

"He said: 'What I'm going to do, is make sausages'.

"And I just remember thinking, 'this is going to bode well'. BUT he got a date, which shows there is something out there for everyone. We had a bloke on, dressed as a butcher, making sausages, on Saturday night telly, AND he got a date!

"So, whenever any of my mates can't get girlfriends, I always remind them - if a man making sausages can get a girlfriend, as a party piece, anyone can. If he can, you can."

If you think you could top him, then get applying.
