Horrifying Footage Shows A Great White Shark Coming Dangerously Close To A Camera Man

A really scary piece of footage.

I don't know about you mate, but there's not much that would scare me more than a great white shark coming the fuck at me; looking like it was ready to tear my body in half with one of those big, white, grinning jaws they have.

I'm glad that's not happening to me any time soon, but that was an actual reality for one cameraman. Horrifying footage captured off the coast of Western Cape in South Africa showing a great white shark breaching with its jaws wide open.

The predator - often known as the king of the ocean - was tempted out of the sea by bait from a group of fishermen , who were by chance filming at the time.

Half of its huge body leaps out of the water to grab at the bait and the camera comes incredibly close to the shark's mouth.

The clip was filmed on 17 April from a boat off the coast of the Western Cape.

Although say that a shark attack is not happening to me any time soon, there was actually potentially evidence of a shark prowling British waters earlier this year. The man-eater was reportedly even close to the public's favourite holiday beaches.

The scare came after a half-eaten 4ft long seal was discovered lying on the beach at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, in February. Huge teeth marks had been gouged in the seal's flesh.

The terrifying find was made by Lauren Gillies, 25, and her boyfriend Matty Burgess, 29, had travelled five miles to go for a walk on the beach.

But this wasn't any typical romantic stroll, the pair were out looking for packages of millions of pounds worth of cocaine that have been washing up on Norfolk beaches over the last few days.

It's not quite what they were looking for, but none the less a shocking find.

Lauren, told TheLADbible: "We were walking to the gym along the beach and we're hunting any washed up parcels. We initially spotted it from afar, we thought that's pretty big we've hit the jackpot! And as we walked closer and closer we realised it wasn't narcotics it was a half a seal.

"We do often go beach walking but we've never come across something like it before. It was pretty shocking!"

I'm no detective, but I don't think it's a huge leap to assume the attack was the work of a massive man-eating shark that could soon be sinking its teeth into human flesh.

The resort where the seal was discovered, is one of a number of popular holiday seaside towns along the Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Suffolk coasts. The beaches are packed with thousands of holidaymakers every summer and face out on to the North Sea.
