Italian police must be feeling pretty stupid today after they discovered a mafia boss who had been on the run for five years hiding behind a wardrobe at his house. You'd think his house would be the first place they'd have looked, wouldn't you?
To reiterate, police spent five years looking for him and he was in his OWN FUCKING HOUSE all along. OK.
Antonio Pelle, known as Mamma (I'm guessing that doesn't translate well), was on Italy's most-wanted list after escaping from a hospital while serving a two-year sentence for drug and 'mafia-offences', I'm not really sure what they are but they sound scary.

Mamma had made himself a little bunker inside the walls of his house between the bathroom and his son's bedroom, and had hidden the entrance with a wardrobe. Not sure if he accessed the bunker Narnia-style through the wardrobe, but if he didn't he missed a trick.
His capture was filmed by local police and you can see him climb out on top of the wardrobe on his stomach.
Police commander Francesco Ratta told the Mirror: "50 of us searched the two-storey villa where Pelle had always lived, but it took a very attentive eye to discover his hiding place."
Hardly, mate, he was behind the wardrobe all along.
