Son Of China's Richest Man Is Refusing To Take Over His Dad's £100bn Empire

I'll do it.

Remember the man who bought his dog eight iPhones? Well, despite the fact he clearly fucking LOVES wasting cash he's told his dad that he won't be taking over his £100bn business empire.

Wang Sicong, 28, has told his father, Wang Jianlin, who is the richest man in China, that he had no plans to pick up the reins in the family business, which includes shopping centres, hotels, theme parks and sports clubs.

Speaking at an entrepreneur summit a few days ago, Jianlin said: "I have asked my son about the succession plan, and he said he does not want to live a life like mine."

He added: "'Perhaps young people have their own quests and priorities. Probably it will be better to hand over to professional managers and have us sit on the board and see them run the company."

Sicong already holds a two percent stake as a director of his old man's business empire, but he's probably best known for spending a sick amount of money on his dog, Coco. I mean, I'm not going to lie, that Apple watch on the dog's leg is cute, but, does a pooch need a watch? Does a dog need two watches? And eight iPhones?

I think he needs a rethink about his future plans, because Christmas is just around the corner and Coco has expensive tastes.
