Britain's youngest Euromillions winner, Jane Park, has fled her home after an online troll threatened her with an acid attack.

Police have since begun an investigation after the 21-year-old received the abuse on social media.

The lottery winner was told on Snapchat she would end up with a face like a 'melted welly'. The abuser also referenced acid-attack victim Katie Piper - and implied they would maim her in the same way.

Acccording to the Mirror, the troll said: "You don't want to end up with a face like a half-melted welly boot do you?"

They added: "Katie Piper eat your heart out."

Former television presenter and model Katie, 33, was scarred for life and partially blinded when her ex Danny Lynch ordered accomplice Stefan Sylvestre throw acid at her on a London street in 2008.

Jane now fears for her safety and has left Scotland.

A source close to her said: "Jane has had a really traumatic time and is fearful what will happen next. It clearly scared her. They started talking to her about acid attacks.

"The messages seem to be real. They started comparing her to Katie Piper. At this point the fear really kicked in. Jane tried to put on a brave face and carry on as normal but she struggled."

It comes days after she was subject to a blackmail attempt, with somebody claiming to have got four personal pictures after hacking into her private Snapchat account.

They requested the press pay £1,000 - through Paypal - for the images of Jane, who won £1million on the Euromillions when she was 17.

Jane was working as an admin-temp for £8 an hour and living in a council flat with her mum Linda when she won big with her first ever ticket.

Speaking on Loose Women today, she said: "My whole family were like don't be stupid with it. You've read a lot of stories about other lottery winners - I knew I didn't want to be like them."

After her win she bought herself a three-bedroom house, but has since decided she prefers living with her mum in a small flat, because it was stressful living on her own.

She also spent £4,500 on a boob job and has had Botox and lip fillers. And has bought herself a £7,000 Rolex and several pairs of Louboutin shoes, which retail for around £455 each.
