Trolls Have Ruined Shia Labeouf's Anti-Trump Art Project, Again

Oh dear, oh dear.

Shia Labeouf was not happy when Donald Trump was elected as US president.

Following Trump's inauguration, the actor and performance artist launched his 'He Will Not Divide Us' project. The art project was supposed to feature a 24-hour livestream outside the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, New York, and broadcast continuously for the duration of Donald Trump's first term as president of the United States.

But it took only two days for the project to see its first controversy when Labeouf got in the face and screamed at a white nationalist who appeared in front of his livestream.

And here is the second time he did it. Re-watch that here...

Shia Labeouf melts down and gets physical with a counter-protester. This is now the second time he's done this.

Then, 20 days in, the project was moved to to Albuquerque, New Mexico, due to concerns that it was sparking violence.

However, less than a week into the new livestream, it was taken down "after shots were reported in the area."

Determined to continue his performance art, Shia set up a third live broadcast. This time it took place in a secret area.

However, once again, this time by using stars and planes that have appeared in the sky, trolls have managed to have the project shut down.

Heat Street describes how: "The search began on March 8 and was immediately narrowed when Labeouf was spotted on social media at a diner in Greenville, Tennessee.

"The time of the sunset in Greenville matched with the time of sunset on the stream, and so did the weather on local weather reports."

From there users of social media site 4chan began looking into flight patterns as one of the few clues available on the stream were the contrails left by aeroplanes.

Greenville was finally confirmed as the location after two planes observed on an online flight radar intersected over the town and were seen on the stream.

When three planes flew over the area, 4channers were able to triangulate an approximate location of the flag.

This, however, was not enough to find the exact location of the flag, so the alt-righters then used astronomy to get a more accurate location.

Finally they had a person drive around in a truck and honk the horn to see if they could hear it on the livestream.

All of this eventually led to the flag being found. 4chan trolls then stole the 'He Will Not Divide Us' flag and replaced it with a 'Make America Great Again' hat and a T-shirt.

Take a look at the moment that the flag was taken down...

And what does Shia think of all this?..

We can only guess.
