It's becoming increasingly evident that the UK is set for a winter as cold as the summer was hot. Snowfall, below freezing temperatures and the chilliest weather we've seen in decades are all forecasted for the next several months.

Instead of spending hundreds on substandard coat, there's now a way for you to quite literally wear your heating wherever you go.

Ororo

Yes, a company named Ororo has developed a range of vests, jackets, sweatshirts and coats with built-in heating, so you'll never have to experience the bitter cold again. Welcome to the future of winter wear.

They might not be the most stylish of apparel, but who gives a crap what you look like when you can do the bitter walk to work with a heater strapped to your chest.

Ororo

Each piece of clothing comes with a rechargeable battery heating device that lasts eight hours, meaning you can stay toasty all day long. Three core heating zones provide front and back warmth, and all come with four adjustable settings - pre-heat, low, medium, and high - so you can adapt to the severity or mildness of the weather each day.

Ororo

Sold yet? We thought so. This is just one step closer to the ultimate fantasy of being able to wear our duvets to work.

But the benefits don't end there - with the Ororo power bank, users can power the jacket as well as USB port compatible devices such as mobile phones. So if you're stuck waiting for the bus in the freezing cold, you can crank up the heat and charge your entertainment device while you're at it.

The only downside is that the items will set you back a fair few quid. The slim fit jacket comes in at £129, the waistcoat at nearly the £100 mark and the men's jacket totalling over £144. So yeah, it's not cheap - but when you think about it, you'd spend about £100 on a night out or two anyway.

What's sacrificing a couple of nights out to stay warm and toasty this winter? You can layer up all you want but nothing spells comfort like walking around with your heating permanently attached to your body. Wrap up this winter like never before.
