'Dreams' Early Access Is Rolling Out To New Players

One of the few remaining major PlayStation exclusives, Dreams, is becoming available in early access to a whole new wave of players today.

In the new game from Media Molecule you are given the tools to model and animate characters and then assemble them into creations of your own making. Some people have been using Dreams to record short films, others have made games large and small, including a recreation of Konami's horror game PT.

Previous games from Media Molecule, like Little Big Planet 3, have shipped with tools to make your own maps and that's led to a devoted community building map packs for years after release. Dreams is taking that principle and running with it, making a space for creative gamers to build to their heart's content.

The latest roll out of Dreams early access has a batch of new tutorials to guide new players through the tools. There are also some masterclasses from the team for more advanced players.

When Dreams launches its full version it will come with a story campaign but it's only the creative tools that are accessible in the early access release. To get access you'll need to buy it through the PlayStation Store.
