Check Out These Themed Treats At The Kirby Café In Japan

Japan's pop-up Kirby Café, which made headlines last year for its appropriately quirky and colourful themed grub, has welcomed a new menu in time for its mid-February re-opening.

Customers can already order a number of mouth-watering dishes, such as pink puffball-stamped burgers (with a side of spaghetti), and fruity deserts displayed as if Kirby was about to consume every last one.

Even if you aren't a Nintendo fan, this café is a must see. But while most fans will likely never get the chance to visit, we can certainly drool at images posted by the Kirby Café, which come to us via Nintendo Life.

Its new menu includes a hotdog-looking thing peering from Kirby's mouth, and a bright blue drink might well make you bounce off the walls. Other dishes look like vegetable and fruit combos, but don't ask me which is a main or a dessert. I honestly have no idea.

They certainly all look appealing, that's for sure. And there's a bonus in store for those who eat at the café - it gifts customers the Kirby merchandise that helped bring their meal together.

So that includes a Kirby or tomato mug, a Kirby pot (with a mouth perfect for pencil storing), a Whispy Woods stacking set, a few character miniatures, keyrings... and I believe the plates are freebies, too.

That's all the café's new items ticked off. If you're interested in paying a visit, it's located in Tokyo Skytree Town. You can book a table right here.

But if, like me, you're unable to make the trip, here's some more food porn from the Kirby Café:
