Michael From Grand Theft Auto V Is Hidden In Red Dead Redemption 2

You wouldn't think Christmas is the next holiday of the year, you know, with all these damn Easter eggs players keep finding in Red Dead Redemption 2.

The game has already provided a secret 'out of this world' experience, as well as a revisit to a classic Rockstar Games mystery, but now? A familiar face is hidden somewhere within Red Dead 2. The only problem is, nobody knows where.

Of course, were talking about the one and only Michael De Santa, one of three protagonists featured in Rockstar's previous title, GTA V.

So if nobody's found him, how do players know he's in there? The hunt started when Twitter user Sunnygtaman "Spotted a wild @ned_luke in the #RDR2 credits :eyes:." Ned Luke, by the way, is the actor who plays Michael in GTA V.

He's also the guy who stars in Red Dead 2, with Ned confirming his appearance in response to Sunnygtaman's post. Sadly, Rockstar cut his speaking part from the final game, probably so gamers didn't recognise his voice instantly.

His in-game character is still there, though, and players are rigorously searching for him as we speak. A number of Ned's followers actually thought they found him already, with an almost identical look-a-like spotted in an O'Driscoll picture. You can view it just below, which is now proven false.

No name, location, or chapter has been given as clues so far, but he's in there - so get looking. I'm heading straight for every saloon I can find when I get home, seeing as Michael loved a drink or two in GTA V.

It probably would've been easier if his character kept his lines, though. It's a real shame they were cut. How cool would it have been to hear a cheeky GTA reference, like 'have you seen Trevor?' - a nod to both GTA V and Red Dead 2's brilliant Lenny mission.

Hopefully Arthur still says something, along the lines of 'you look familiar' - in fact, this player reckons he said this to a blue suit-wearing pianist. Could this be him? Ned hasn't replied yet, so you decide.

Let us know what you think about this news, and if you think you've found him already.
