With their calming decor and a PC in the corner, everyone knows that Pokemon Centres are some of the most soothing places known to man.
They offer somewhere where you and your Pokés can feel finally safe after hours of getting the crap beaten out of you by all those trainers on Route 24.

If you're an American Pokémon lover, we have good news for you: from this weekend you will be able to visit those oases of comfort for real.
Earlier today the U.S. video game retailer Gamestop announced that, starting tomorrow, Pokémon centres will be popping up across its stores.
You'll also be able to find Pokémon centres in some stores of Gamestop's subsidiary company, the computer nerd-focused retailer ThinkGeek.
These areas will offer exclusive goodies and collectibles to Pokémon fans that won't be available anywhere else. What I want to know is whether they'll have the calming music to put me to sleep and not those weirdos in the corner offering me awful trades.

The practice has already been thriving in Japan and now bosses have decided to give Westerners their own unique Poké destinations.

"We are excited to bring fans the highest quality Pokémon collectibles at in-store Pokémon Centers, before any retailer outside Japan," said Janet Bareis, senior vice president of collectibles for GameStop in a press release.

"The center launches just in time for the holidays, giving gift-givers plenty of time to find a special gift for the budding Pokémon trainer on their list."
According to Gamestop's website, just some of the goodies you'll be able to find include Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for your 3DS, or booster packs to add to your Pokemon Trading Card collection.
You can even get some decorations for your room such as a new Pikachu plush toy for your girlfriend or collectible statues, if that's your thing.
Don't forget, though, that Black Friday is coming up so the place may be a bit crowded full of people looking for good deals.

Unfortunately, the offer is in person only so whatever you order online you'd need to pick up stuff in store.
If you don't live in the U.S, don't despair: the website WWG have offered to find all the best online offerings so you can be the very best shopper online like no one ever was. Just check their website tomorrow.
Pokémon goodies galore and a childhood dream realised. Not bad for a bit of Christmas shopping, eh?
