'The Last Of Us' Is The Best Game Ever Made, According To Sony

The best game ever made? It's an impossible question - for some.

Tech giants Sony have taken it upon themselves to answer one of life's biggest mysteries, and they only see one clear winner.

Their recent tweet crowned Naughty Dog's The Last of Us as the number one video game of all time, and it's sure to rattle a few Xbox cages.

We've got to hand it to them for picking such a brilliant game, but is it really worthy of the title 'best ever?' We're not so certain.

Although the post tried to be clever with their decision, we don't doubt Sony fully believes this is the truth, and what better way is there to market the upcoming sequel than this?

The game in question was originally released for the PS3 back in 2013, but has since been revamped for the current PS4 model.

The sequel, The Last of Us Part 2, doesn't yet have a launch date, but it's expected to be just as intense as the first.

This time around, players will be taking complete control of an older Ellie as they battle their way through the post-apocalyptic world, and it looks a hell of a lot more violent than its predecessor.

What do you think about Sony's choice? Was it right, or what would you pick for the greatest game ever made? Let us know.
