The Official Launch Trailer For Red Dead Redemption 2 Has Dropped

The time is nearly upon us - Red Dead Redemption 2 releases in just over a week.

Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde Gang are set and ready to explore, kill, steal, and do whatever the hell you like. It's 1899, you can get away with a whole load of sh*t.

Rockstar Games released trailer after trailer to familiarise you with the game's story, mechanics, and characters - but here's the final one, the official launch trailer:

The tense minute-long trailer opens with the main character Arthur talking to one of his gang members about carrying out 'one more big score' and getting out of the game for good. In the brief clip we also get a sneak peak at what's in store for gamers, including a train heist, a bank robbery, and even a grizzly bear. It promises to be epic.

As the new trailer illustrates, Rockstar's Western open-world is heaving with opportunities and detail, around 60 hours worth to be precise. That's just the story, however, so expect 60 to jump way into the triple figures, especially when Red Dead Online launches in November.

The highly anticipated multiplayer mode will begin as a public BETA before rolling out into a full game mode. If it's anything like Rockstar's other baby, GTA Online, we'll be writing about it for years to come.

One last thing, if you haven't pre-ordered Red Dead 2 yet, we reckon you should. Rockstar announced pre-loading is an option for anyone who buys the digital edition early, which is great considering the game is 105GB. Yeah, we know.
