Last year, when CD Projekt RED finally started openly talking about Cyberpunk 2077 and what would actually feature in the game, we learned that you couldn't get all the way through the game without killing anyone. After community feedback, that's no longer the case. CD Projekt RED has made it so all encounters can be completed without killing a single person.
So, if protagonist V can do it in Cyberpunk 2077, then I guess we should aim to get through life non-lethally, too.
"Every weapon and every cyberware has a nonlethal option," lead quest designer Paweł Sasko told PC Gamer. "Pretty much every gun, pretty much every cyberware, you're able to use in a nonlethal way. You're able to knock them down, choke them, make them sleep and so on. There are ways not to kill them and spare them, like the way you could do with Sasquatch, the boss."
Now, when Sasko says "every weapon", there are some exceptions to this. Though, they're understandable ones - weapons that can't really be any less lethal. Like a bazooka, for instance.

PC Gamer has been to see the Cyberpunk 2077 demo at E3 already (our boys are going along later today), and report that they see V beating someone up and throwing their body down a trash chute (totally non-lethal) and that were lots of non-lethal abilities on show. Hack into environmental objects to cause distractions, for instance. Or you can even upload malware to your enemies, knocking them out.
Apparently all these changes to allow you to play through non-lethally were based on player feedback asking for the less deadly approach to Cyberpunk 2077 to be made available. So it sounds like CD Projekt RED are open to suggestions, even this late in the development.
All the more reason for you to bombard them with demands to be able to have sex with Keanu Reeves. Will you be playing non-lethally? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter. And, while you're at it, why not check out the GAMINGbible Snapchat?
