You Can Now Make Your Own Quests In ‘Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’

Assassin's Creed Odyssey received a huge update today that lets you create your own quests for the massive Greek open world game. Or, if you don't want to make your own adventures you can simply play other peoples. And, if you want to know more about the world that Odyssey takes place in, Ubisoft revealed details of when we can expect the Discovery Tour mode to be released.

The Story Creator mode is a set of tools that let you create a mission and write all of the dialogue options for interactions in the quest. For instance, you could choose to make an assassination mission in which you have to lie your way through a conversation with Herodotus to find out the name of his long lost twin before then going to find that twin and do them in. Or, you know, you could write something better than that. While you need to make the quests using the Story Creator on PC, you can share and play the quests on any platform.

Ubisoft released a Discovery Tour mode for Assassin's Creed Origins, the Egypt-set adventure released back in 2017. It was a great feature that let you walk through the world and learn the real history behind what you were seeing. Ubisoft clearly does a lot of research for each game and that doesn't always find a way to be explained on screen, Discovery Mode let the team turn their historical stab 'em ups into educational tools.

Ubisoft has announced that is going to release a Discovery Mode for Assassin's Creed Odyssey and it will be coming out this Autumn. The mode will feature 300 stations where players can learn about the Ancient Greek world.

These are both huge updates for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Are they enough to make up for the lack of new game announcement at Ubisoft's E3 conference? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter. And, while you're at it, why not check out the GAMINGbible Snapchat?
