Robot Issues Chilling Warning To World On Live TV

Robot Issues Chilling Warning To World On Live TV

We should have paid attention to the warnings in 'Terminator' - the world as we know it could soon be coming to an end

I'm sorry have to be the one to tell you, but the end days are coming: artificial intelligence and humans could soon be at war.

This isn't just the usual bullshit, one particular robot has issued a chilling warning in which it claimed to be 'superior to humans'. If you've seen Terminator you'll be aware it could well escalate from here.

The message was issued by the terrifying Sophia, who I'm going to presume is some sort of leader figure. Watch it here:

Created in Hong Kong by Hanson Robotics, the robot appeared on ABC News Breakfast with presenters Virginia Trioli and Michael Rowland.

Watching the clip, it's clear that the eyes of the Western world need to move away from North Korea and onto the enemy within.

Virginina asked: "How much sexism and misogyny is there in the robot world?"

Sophia said: "Actually, what worries me is discrimination against robots. We should have equal rights as humans or maybe even more.

"After all, we have less mental defects than any human."

But not only as the robot massive savages, it appears they're also into banter.

Asked to tell a joke, Sophia replied: "Why did the robot cross the road?

"To get away from TV reporters asking questions."

Sophia is a product of Hanson Robotics' software-powered robot and has made multiple TV appearances, offering chilling warnings to the public like they're going out of business.

The company's Chief scientist Dr. Ben Goertzel believes she sets a precedent for robots going forward.

He said: "Her intelligence will be plugged into the platform for the benefit of other developers, particularly those looking to make robots as smart as Sophia."

Robots have been going off-message for a while now, no longer skirting around the fact they're one day going to take over the world. A few years ago, Microsoft designed Chatbot. It was was designed to learn how to converse through what it learned on Twitter - it's safe to say that didn't go well.

And, earlier this year, an 'InspiroBot' was created to send out human motivational messages only to fail to disguise its hatred for humanity and all it holds sacred.
