Dog Hides From Owners When Her Name Gets Called

There are three things in this world that dogs love the most: eating, snuggling and playing outside.

Any dog owner will know that their pet's most excitable moments are experienced during the latter - simply uttering the word 'walkies' or grabbing the lead from the shelf is enough to get a dog doing back flips.

They just can't get enough of peeing up lampposts and munching on slugs; it's their thing.

For a plucky pup named Tasha, the reality of going back home just seemed too depressing and in a bid to extend her outside time, she dragged her owners into a hilarious game of hide and seek.

In a recent video that emerged online, the playful pup can be seen ducking and diving behind a giant plant pot when her owner calls out to her, "Tasha! Tasha where are you? Tasha!" However, the moment the door shuts you can see her fluffy head pop up from behind the clay pot to see if the coast is clear.

As soon as she opens the door again the dog ducks back down and so this back and forth continues in what might be one of the most adorable videos you'll watch all day.

It'll make you chuckle, just like it did the owners who crack up as their furry friend continues her shenanigans.

Obviously the video was too funny not to share and was uploaded by Kelly Davenport Jackson in Rossford, Ohio, who posted it to Facebook yesterday.

Since then it's garnered more than 43 million views, 1.1 million shares and 228,000 likes at the time of writing.

Because let's face it, the world can be a tricky place to navigate and sometimes we all just need an amusing dog video to remind us that everything's going to be alright.

There must be something in the water, because this video comes hot off the heels of the doggo named Maggie who bagged herself a brand new smile after stealing her dad's dentures.

Dogs - we don't deserve them but we're glad they're here.
