Steven Spielberg Reveals Why He's Watched ‘E.T’ The Most Out Of All The Films He’s Made

Steven Spielberg is the man behind some of the most incredible, magical and memorable moments in movie history.

After nearly 50 years as a filmmaker, he's been responsible for Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Gremlins, Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, Men In Black and so many more (literally it would take a whole article to list all his projects), including Ready Player One which is in cinemas as we speak.

But there's one movie which he directed that he's seen more than anything else - E.T.

He says it was the film that had the biggest real-world repercussions for him because it made him want to have kids.

"I never even thought about having kids, I was busy having a career instead of having children," he told LADbible.

The legendary 1982 film starred Henry Thomas, Robert MacNaughton and Drew Barrymore - who were all very young at the time.

Spielberg says all of his seven kids have wanted to watch that movie first and he's enjoyed being able to relive the story again and again over the years.

Ready Player One is in UK cinemas now.
