The other day I was watching Inception for what must have been the 392nd time and, as it finished, I found myself shouting: "Where's that new Christopher Nolan film? Grrr, lemme at it! Gimme a new film, Chris!" And now he has, in the form of Dunkirk.
Yes, we now have a teaser trailer to the World War II epic, which tells the story of Operation Dynamo, the last effort to evacuate 300,000 Allied troops who were trapped by Nazi soldiers at Dunkirk's French seaport.
It will star Tom Hardy, first-timer Fionn Whitehead, Mark Rylance, and, best of all, Harry Styles of One Direction fame.
If YouTube 1080p isn't your scene, the trailer will apparently play before Suicide Squad showings. But that means you're gonna have to watch Suicide Squad. And, I mean, do you wanna take that risk?
Still a champion of good old celluloid, Nolan shot Dunkirk on 65 mm film and IMAX cameras.
Dunkirk will be released by Warner Bros. and will hit cinemas on July 21, 2017.
