Nothing quite gets me in the mood for summer like Will Smith's 1997 hit 'Miami'. It's a proper feel-good tune and an absolute banger.

However, The Fresh Prince has refrained from spitting the famous bars to that track for a while. Well, that was until he decided to whip it out during a Suicide Squad promo party, much to the delight of the crowd and his co-stars.

Big Willie dropped some rhymes as Margot Robbie, Karen Fukuhara, Jay Hernandez and director David Ayer danced behind him.

We're now just days away from the release of the superhero film, Suicide Squad, which is based on the DC Comics antihero team of the same name.

Smith will portray supervillain Deadshot in the movie and that is a stark difference from characters he has played in the past.

However, the two-time Oscar nominee and a Grammy-winning recording artist, recently revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the character was exactly why he signed up for the 2016 blockbuster.

"I had never played a character that legitimately didn't give a fuck. It's very freeing not having to carry the moral spine of the movie," he said.

"I couldn't find a model to understand what would make someone comfortable killing another person for money. David walked me through that. He found a book for me 'The Anatomy of Motive by John Douglas', and I worked through getting into the mind of serial killers.

"Once I accepted the [notion the author puts forth] that it feels good, that really exploded the idea in my mind of Deadshot."

At least if he doesn't pull the character off he can always fuck this movie stuff off and return as the prodigal son of rap. Because, let's be honest, that's what we're all hoping for.
