Dele Alli Talks Footballers' Fashion With LADbible In 'Way Back When'

Dele Alli has spoken to LADbible about his views on other footballers' fashion sense from the past up until the present day.

The Tottenham Hotspur and England star spoke about the style choices of his team-mates, rivals, and icons from bygone times. He also gave his thoughts on the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Russia this summer.

He appeared on LADbible's 'Way Back When' to pile some shade onto his fellow footballers.

First up was his Spurs team-mate Harry Kane. Before we start, it's worth pointing out that Kane was only a kid when this photo was taken, but his pink polo shirt and hyper-gelled hair look ropey even for a few years back.

Alli' said: "He looks like he's on a cruise." However, Alli admitted to rocking a similar style himself. He said: "It was in back then. I used to wear it, so it must have been in."

Sure, whatever you say.

He also saw a picture from derby rival Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey's now-famous Bebo profile. Dele is too young to have had Myspace but many people reading this will know the feeling that comes from remembering awful mirror shots and mullet haircuts.

Alli then analysed the fashion faux-pas of footballing superstars like Granit Xhaka (in a tracksuit so awful it is almost impressive) Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, and Adam Lallana.

The only people who gets a free pass is David Beckham - despite his many fashion nightmares - and Alli himself, but he might have been joking. At least we hope he's joking.

Discussing England's World Cup ambitions, he mentioned that they will be working harder than ever. It would seem as if the 2016 Euro Championship defeat to Iceland has left a pretty sore mark on the squad.

Alli spoke with LADbible to promote his new clothing range with boohooMAN - 'boohooMAN by Dele' is available around the world from May 10th.
