Who Is Salt Bae’s Wife And How Many Kids Does He Have?

Despite being a major social media icon, Salt Bae's family life is shrouded in mystery.

The Turkish meat mogul known to the world as Salt Bae is about to leave his new London establishment to open another restaurant in Riyadh.

From his Instagram, you can see that Salt Bae (real name Nusret Gökçe) is very fond of the UAE. You can also see him posing with the countless celebrities and sports personalities he's served in one of his restaurants over the years. But one thing we don't see much of on his social media is his wife or family.

Who is Salt Bae's wife and how many kids does he have?

Salt Bae once said on Instagram: "A man that does not spend time with his family is not a real man." That aside, his family life remains shrouded in mystery.

In September 2018, the meat master posted a photo of him surrounded by 12 kids and a woman (who we assume to be his wife or partner). He captioned it: "My family" with a love heart emoji.

We're not sure who his wife or partner is and while Salt Bae does post photos of him with his (or who we believe to be his) kids from time to time, this is the only one we've seen with a potential Mrs Salt Bae in it.

Salt Bae himself came from a large family. He was one of five children, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched to think he wanted to have a big family of his own?

According to Bustle, several media publications have reached out to him to ask about his family, but he hasn't commented. We can only assume that he likes to keep his family life private.

What is Salt Bae's net worth in 2021?

Salt Bae is estimated to be worth an eye-watering $60 million (£44 million) in 2021 - so he can certainly afford to have 12 kids.

Although the world has only really known Salt Bae since 2017, his restaurant venture began in 2010 and he's put some hard graft into building up his steak house empire.

Not to mention, being a personal chef to the rich and famous is bound to come with a nice pay packet - not to mention the exposure and seal of approval you can get from them.

But aside from those things, the prices of his food might explain why he's worth so much too.Featured Image Credit: PA
