Adorable Moment Two Dog Pals Are Reunited After A Month Apart

An adorable clip showing a dog reunited with her best four-legged pal after a month apart has prompted an emotional reaction after being shared on TikTok.

The cute video, which was filmed by Stefani Maryn, shows Samantha, a black Labrador mix, out for a stroll when she unexpectedly saw her friend Baldur across the street and couldn't hide her absolute delight.

As soon as she spots her little mate, she begins to bark before turning around to her owner and pulling her towards Bladur, who is out with his owner Liesl.

After pulling her owner towards her friend the pair finally get their reunion as they rub noses and bark at one other excitedly. It's pretty bloody heartwarming all this, isn't it?

Stefani, who lives in Hamilton, Ontario,told the Daily Mail the two pooches were 'soulmates' and that rescue dog Samantha's favourite thing is 'leaning in and licking Bladur's face' while they walk together.

Samantha was even on hand (or paw) when Baldur found himself in a sticky situation last year. She told the news outlet, poor Baldur had got spooked by fireworks and ran away to hide under the decking in the garden.

The terrified dog refused to move, despite his owner's best efforts - so Liesl called on Stefani to bring Samantha over who was able to get Baldur to come back out.

The pair usually get to spend a fair amount of time together, but due to the coronavirus lockdown haven't seen each other for a month - until the moment caught in the clip, of course.

Stefani told the Daily Mail: "I was out for a run the day before and bumped into Liesl and Baldur on their walk.

"We both commented how excited Samantha would be to see Baldur [and] the very next day, when I was walking Samantha during my lunch hour from work, I could see Baldur and Liesl walking towards us.

'We laughed about what a coincidence the reunion was, and how excited they were to see each other, as we predicted.

"The overwhelming reception of this video has been beautiful. While neither of us expected such a large response, we are thrilled that their reunion and friendship has brought joy and been relatable during this difficult time."
