A dog owner has shared an adorable snap of his pooch after she got herself into a spot of bother and ended up looking a bit like an astronaut.
Jeb Banner, from Indiana in the US, shared a photo of his dog Mila on Twitter, writing: "So this happened last night. Wind blew it off a lamp post in the backyard.

"Dog got curious and then got it stuck on her head.
"I spotted her out my window and couldn't believe my eyes at first. She was perfectly still.
"Just waiting for take off."
The cute tweet has since gone viral, with almost 120,000 likes and thousands of retweets.
And, as you can imagine, there were more than a few people who couldn't resist using Photoshop to take the p*** out of the poor pup.

Thankfully, the dog was no worse off for the mishap, with Jeb explaining: "She was fine, took a little pulling but it came off and it wasn't too tight around her neck to cut off oxygen.
"She seemed perfectly fine once it was off."
Speaking to Wish TV, Banner said: "She was never in danger and could breathe just fine."
I thought some folks might want to see what Mila, my #spacedog, looks like without her space helmet on. Note the very dirty paws. She is always getting into trouble in the back yard. pic.twitter.com/h8OyplNSCp

Before saying it took 'a little work' to get the sphere off her head and that, perhaps understandably, little Mila was 'very happy to see him' when it was finally removed.
Posting a quick update about how she's doing, he wrote: "Mila aka Spacedog is taking her new fame in stride and mostly napping the day away."
