Giant Asian Hornets Could Be Coming To The UK And They're Terrifying

These are scary.

If you've got a fear of being stung by twatty insects in the summer, I'm sorry to inform you that those fears may grow this year.

A huge hive of Asian hornets could be on their way to invade Britain and, let me tell you, these fuckers are scary.

About 12 years ago, a hive containing thousands of the hornets were inadvertently taken to France in pottery and have since spread to Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium and Portugal.

Whilst over in France it is thought up to five people died from the stings of the hornets.

Camilla Keane, chair of the Wildlife and Countryside Link's group on invasive species, spoke to the Daily Mail about how the insects could cause major trouble over here.

"Like all invasive non-native species, once established the Asian hornet would be incredibly difficult and hugely costly to tackle," she said.

"Sadly many other invasive species already wreak havoc in our countryside, and new invasive non-native species are arriving each year, so the issue is not going away."

The hornets can come in hives containing 6,000 of the bastards and they could arrive in the UK via fruit or other imported goods.

Board your windows up, it'll be like the fucking purge if they get here.
