An adorable golden retriever stole the hearts of the nation back in February when he set the world record for the highest amount of tennis balls in a dog's mouth.

Well, now Finley is back again because his achievement has been recognised by the official Guinness World Records and he looks proud as punch.

Funny what you can accomplish when you put your mouth to it, isn't it?

Finley's human, Erin Molloy explained that the gorgeous pooch has been hoarding tennis balls since he was just two and his well-honed craft means that he is now able to fit six into his pie hole.

The six-year-old dog from Ontario County, New York, has managed to put a whopping six balls inside its mouth at one time, beating the previous Guinness World Record holder of five.

Erin's parents, Cherie and Rob Molloy, remember a time when Finley ran up to them with a whopping four balls stuffed inside his gob and that's when it became obvious that they had a special animal on their hands.

"The joy he brings to us is one thing," Cherie Molloy told the Democrat and Chronicle. "But he brings joy to people all over the world."

She added that Finley's version of fun is, obviously, go fetch. While the first few balls are easily picked up, he slows down to a crawl to grab the fifth and sixth balls.

But when there's no one there to throw half a dozen tennis balls at him, he apparently likes to lie on his back and hold a ball above him with his two paws and then drop it into his mouth.

What a good boy. Congrats, Finley and co. very well deserved.
