If you thought 101 Dalmatians sounded painful to deliver, what about 19 Great Danes? In truth neither sounds like a great option, although there is one key difference - the first one is fictional while the other is very much a reality. At least, it is for a presumably very tired dog named Cleo.
Her adorable pink-nosed puppers were delivered at the Kingman Animal Hospital in Kingman, Arizona.

Cleo wasn't soldiering on alone during the mean feat, though - according to FOX10, Dr Erika Angone was the surgeon on hand performing the Caesarean section, assisted by a team of seven technicians. It really was a case of all hands on deck.
But it was well worth it... as you can see in the evidence below:
Kingman Animal Hospital posted pictures of the new family on its Facebook page after the puppies were delivered.

Staff wrote: "The staff of KAH (11 of us) successfully delivered 19 Great Dane puppies this morning by C Section! All live and healthy! Mom doing great!
"For the record: None of these photos were taken in the surgical room. These are not photos of the procedure but before and after pics. This is in our treatment area where we were checking puppies afterwards for any issues.
"The procedure was performed in a sterile surgical room. These puppies do not belong to KAH or any of the staff. Thank you all for the kind words and congrats to the momma dog and our hard working staff that came in for this emergency."

Many people have offered their congratulations, with one saying: "Congratulations to the mom, owner and KAH. Good job. That is definitely puppy overload. They are beautiful."
Another added: "Congratulations to the staff at KAH! Awesome job and so many puppies to deliver. You guys are awesome!"
A third commented: "To the staff at Kingman Animal Hospital..you are heroes in saving this Mom and all her puppies. You Rock!"
Others took time to show their appreciation for treating animals, one posted: "The joy of veterinary medicine. As important as human healthcare but not as valued by most."

According to the animal hospital, the puppies and Cleo will be returning for a wellness check at some point today.
Now imagine trying to get all those adorable pups back home...
