Malnourished Husky Nursed Back To Full Health By Animal Lover

Rico Soegiarto found the pup wandering the streets, barely able to walk. He washed him, took him to the vets and nursed him back to health.

There's nothing we love to see more than an abandoned animal rescued, but what's even better is seeing pictures of them when they've been nursed back to full health. This one is going to hit you right in the feels.

We say it time and time again but we don't deserve dogs. On this occasion, it's slightly different, though, because this pair are definitely a match made in heaven.

Meet Rico Soegiarto and try to be just like him from now on. He rescued this unrecognisable husky and tended to it for 10 months after finding him wandering the streets of Denpasar in Bali. What a LAD.

The pup had bald patches on his mangy coat with exposed sores. He was so malnourished he looked skeletal and could barely hold himself up. He also had long, dirty nails that hadn't been trimmed in months or longer.

And then Rico came along like a real-life superhero. He nursed the lucky pooch back to full health by washing, trimming and feeding him and took him to the vets several times.

Now, 10 months later, Rico took to Facebook to show the world the comparison and we can see the husky is now flaunting a full, white coat, and we don't blame him.

He looks playful and happy on the video as he sits with his beloved owner, nudging him occasionally to keep stroking his fur. It's a stark comparison to what he was faced with less than a year ago.

He wrote on Facebook: "Do you still remember ?Dog that i found 10 months ago. Swipe left to see the changes. (Sic)" And some changes they were, we wouldn't be surprised if we were told it's a completely different dog.

Rico, a night auditor at the Mercure Resort in Sanur, Bali, received plenty of praise from dog lovers around the world for his kind act.

It's reported the dog would likely have died soon after he was found if he was not nursed back to health.

It's not the first time an extraordinary act has been carried out. Back in April, we told you about the golden retriever that was rescued from a meat market after a group of animal lovers raised enough money to buy him.

The animal appeared incredibly happy, so much so that it looked like it cried tears of joy over its release. More of this please, humans.
