People Are Going Wild For This Totally Not Fake Picture From Australia

While it might have fooled some people, it's not as shocking as it may seem

Most people outside of Australia are terrified of the country based on the assumption that everything can and will kill you. Don't get me wrong, there is a shit load of things that will infect you, bite you, infest you and eat you - but most of the time you're fine.

Well, one photo certainly isn't helping my reasoning as it's gone well and truly viral on social media with comedian Ricky Gervais even sharing it.

Now, before we get started, you should know that this picture is well and truly fake...kind of. All the components certainly happened, but they didn't happen at the same time.

Nevertheless, people are still terrified.

The top half of the viral picture shows a goddamn dingo eating a shark on a beach. Most people who are scared of the ocean fear being gobbled up in a frenzy by a great white and here you have a dingo munching on a carcass, giving you that stare as if to say 'don't fuck with me'.

There's no suggestion that the dingo jumped into the sea and dragged the shark onto the shoreline and started devouring it - that would be absurd.

One person who came across the image on Reddit shared their scary encounter with the four-legged beast: "I was fishing in the Port Stephens area when this hungry dingo approached me because I had some baitfish.

"It stalked me for around ten minutes before deciding to close in. This point I was freaking out, it went ballistic, yelping at me as it came running towards me. I literally ran into chest deep water to escape. I consider myself lucky as the dingo was afraid of the waves and backed off after a couple of minutes."

There you have it, this dingo almost 100 percent definitely didn't not catch a shark. But again, that look is enough to send some people running for the hills.

Then you've got the second half of the viral picture, which, again, definitely happened, just not a few metres away from this shark-dingo feast.

For those people wondering WTF is going on in this image, it's simple: they're having sex.

While it might look like the two copperheads are locked in a vicious battle, they're actually just getting jiggy with it. According to HowStuffWorks, snake sex can go on from under an hour to a whole bloody day.

Regardless of the fact that these pictures are spliced together, all you need is a few spiders, a bottle of VB and some Vegemite and you can easily say it's the most Aussie picture you'll ever come across.
