Ever seen a brown bear on a boat enjoying a spot of fishing? Well, now you have (if you press play, of course):

Archie is a rescued brown bear. His owner, Veronika Dichka, likes to spend a lot of time with him fishing on a lake in their native Novosibirsk, Russia.

Veronika rescued Archie from a safari park that was running out of business two years ago and she has kept him as a pet ever since.

The pair are like any other friends, cherishing each other's company, and the video and pictures show them enjoying some quality time on the water.

With fishing rods in hand, Veronika waits for any bites whilst Archie is keen to jump in and hunt the food for himself.

Veronika said: "He sees me as a member of his family, we share food, sleep in my arms when afraid, and hide behind me. We rescued him from the safari park but can't release him into the wild as he has lived in captivity his whole life.

"Archie spends every day with us and is madly in love with water. He loves it very much when I take him to new places, so this shoot was a pleasure for him!"

One thing's for sure, Veronika is braver and more trustworthy than most people - especially the group of friends who had to scare away a bear that had broken into their car and caused massive amounts of damage.

After hearing a horn being sounded, the pals soon realised that it was coming from their car and was being caused by a bear in the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Many people would have opted to leave the car forever and never look back but one of the men - Joseph Deel - took it upon himself to open the door.

Oh, and he was barefoot.

To add insult to injury, the bear trashed Joseph's car, and due to the damage he had to abandon the vehicle on the interstate.

Speaking about the incident in a follow up TikTok video, Joseph said: "When you're surrounded by nature, who's going to break into your car? There weren't any people around me, I wasn't worried about my things getting stolen.

"Turns out that bears... bears will break into your car and they're actually quite good at it because they tested the closest neighbour's doors as well and they tested my friend's car doors. I was just the one that was lucky enough to win the TikTok lottery."
