93-Year-Old Trades In Skateboard To Car Dealership And Gets £2000 Discount

Here at TheLADbible we get sent an awful lot of stories, and there's some that we just can't let go unnoticed.

This was one of them.

This particular story was sent in by Jack Dunn, and is about a 93-year-old man who heard the car dealership where Jack works were offering a discount to anyone who trades in anything that has 4 wheels.

Mr Edwards, the 93-year-old, headed down to the dealership to hand in a skateboard which he hadn't used for years - unsurprisingly. Given that it has 4 wheels, he got £2000 off an MG3.

"I only met Mr Edwards (the customer) briefly, but he was delighted that he could swap his skateboard in for £2000 off a new car, he bought an MG3 and drove it away same day. He said he hasn't used his skateboard in a couple of years, and he heard that we had an offer on where you could trade anything with 4 wheels in for the discount, so he took us up on it. It was a genius idea!," Jack told us.

We completely agree, what a genius idea.

"He was full of energy for his age, and he was really excited that we wanted to take a picture of him and his new car for the company Facebook and Twitter. He made everyone in the office smile, I'm sure he would be over the moon to be on TheLADbible," Jack went on to say.

What a guy.
