Christmas is the time for giving. Personally, I'll be giving up the gym, my diet and any hope of bettering myself in any way. HA! I made a joke. Admittedly, it sounds exactly like something your Aunty Carol would share on her Facebook page with a minion next to it.
Here's a mock up.
Anyway, a kind-hearted soul dropped a winning lottery ticket worth $1,000 (£789) into a Salvation Army charity bucket in Pennsylvania. Christmas is an expensive time for everyone, so I think that's what makes this act of generosity and kindness even more amazing.

Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko told Fox 8 Cleveland: "The Christmas season often brings out the best in people,
"It's heart-warming to hear stories such as this one, and I applaud this anonymous winner for turning their good fortune into an act of charity that will benefit the community."
The ticket, which had won the Fantastic 10s instant game, was dropped into the bucket on December 6, 2016 in Erie.
Major Leslie Walter, officer of the Salvation Army in Erie, said: "We've received donations of winning instant tickets in the past, but they're usually in an amount of $10 or $20 - never something of this size.

"We are very grateful for this generous donation, which will help us to serve people and families in need."
Hopefully karma makes its way back round and gifts whoever made this awesome gesture. Let's just hope they didn't think it was a dud and assumed the charity bucket was a bin.
