Get This Guy A Medal For Saving A Toddler In Spider-Man Style

He is a real-life superhero.

Impressive as it is, I have never quite understood those maniacs who decide to climb up the side of tall buildings without safety equipment.

That said, those who heroically scale walls and buildings to help save the lives of others deserve a big, fat medal and maybe a lifetime of cold beer.

If everyone had Spider-Man powers, my guess is that the world would probably be a pretty terrible place. Hospitals would be full to the brim of people who have crash landed while on their way to work, attempting to swing from building to building. Luckily for the emergency services, 'spidey senses' are only dished out to the minority. Among the gifted few is Liang Lei, who has just saved a toddler from falling from an apartment window - you don't get much more superhero than that!

Footage has emerged showing the moment Liang bravely zoomed up the side of a building in China's Shandong Province. He did so to help an unnamed two-year-old who was dangling out of a window by his neck.

The young kid was home alone when he attempted to climb out of the window before getting snagged in the security bars, reports the Daily Mail.

Liang's 'spidey senses' started tingling when he heard screams from the crowd below.

"I got here and found the boy barely moving. His legs were shaking. I decided to climb up as I thought he was in danger," Liang said. "The security window left a trace on the boy's neck. If the boy turned his head, he would have fallen from the gap in the bars."

The hero without a cape held on to the little lad until a locksmith was able to unlock the door and let them both in.
