I wish there was a box full of my old toys hidden in my home; one that I could reach into whenever I'm skint. In a perfect world, my childhood treasures would command a lot of money on eBay, or at least enough for a night out.
There'd be nothing better than sitting on a gold mine of LEGO, Beanie Babies or Pokémon cards. Or even better, Action Man - a toy that I actually collected.
He came in many varieties - there was a kung fu version, a jungle version, a scuba diving version, and my personal favourite, a sky diving version.

There was something exciting about flinging your Action Man from an upstairs bedroom window just to see him float to the ground below, safely guided by the glorified plastic bag on his back.
If you've got one of these sky divers packed away in the loft, it might be time to let go of the nostalgia and cash in. You could get quite a bit for it on eBay.

Obviously, I tossed mine away like an idiot. But if you're still hoarding the plastic parachutists, or even the accessories and outfits that old AM came with, you could make an even bigger killing.
Just stick the clothes on eBay and label it a 'vintage collection'.

Also, if you're lucky enough to have the special edition James Bond 007 Action Man figures (I doubt you are, I didn't even know they existed) then get them on eBay. Right now.
