Maya Jama has - understandably - been left 'confused' after seeing a bizarre video from TikTok that showed someone who wrote that he was hiding in her toilet.

The video shows the back of a person who isn't Maya Jama walking to the loo with the caption: "Maya Jama walking to her bathroom."

Then it cuts to show a guy under water with the text: "Me hiding in her toilet."

An ominous brown lump falls in, which the guy then emerges for and eats. Vom. We would like to think that the lump isn't actually poo, and due to the size and shape of it, we've come to the conclusion that it must be half a Mars Bar.

The video was posted on Twitter, with someone rightly guessing that Maya Jama hadn't seen the strange tribute to her, before tagging her in, posting: "@mayajama you seen this?"

She picked up on it, quote-tweeting the user and starting with a cry laughing emoji, writing: "What is going on?"

Obviously taking some time to reflect on the horrors that she'd just witnessed, she replied again: "Sorry I had to re watch that. How do you explain videos like this to your mates?? He ate that pretend poo with the biggest smile and I'm confused/flattered."

The poor girl is confused - totally understandably - and so was everyone else. The majority of the hundreds of responses include confused GIFs and people basically saying 'WTF?'

One person replied: "I really wanna know what the fake poo actually was."

While someone else backed the creator of the video, adding: "I'd eat your poo, fake or not, I'm sorry, that's all I have to say on the matter."

Another guy responded: "Mate men are odd when it comes to women."

And, I think that basically sums it up - let's not try to make sense of it.

Maya, a TV and radio presenter, broke up with grime artist Stormzy in August last year after four years together.

There was speculation that he cheated on her after he released 'Lessons', the 15th track on his latest album Heavy is the Head, in which the 26-year-old says that he 'done the dirt' and says 'you cannot imagine how I'm sorry'.

But in an interview with HOT 97, he insisted that he didn't cheat on Jama.

When asked about the allegations, he said: "D'you know what? It's good that you asked me this. I didn't cheat. I didn't cheat!"
