Wayne Lineker Lays Out Revised 'Wifey' Criteria In Instagram Post

Wayne Lineker has laid out a revised 'wifey' criteria in a post on Instagram.

Last September, Gary's brother shared a lengthy list of requirements for a budding girlfriend - but it seems his expectations have changed a lot since then.

In his post last year - which was peppered with plenty of #humblebrags - the 59-year-old said: "You must like older men but only me...You have to be a worldie and above 30 (Ok 28 29 could work) but not my age as that would just look weird.

"You must like to travel and to fly business class and stay in incredible hotels. Be prepared to give up your career or job or at least be able to work from a laptop on a tropical beach somewhere.

"You will need to spend the summer in Ibiza and the winter in Dubai with 2 weeks in UK for Christmas and new year with the families and holidays to the Maldives."

You get the idea; but it seems Wayney has fallen on hard times.

His latest bid to find a partner reads: "What a difference a year makes.

"You must like older men but only me apart from maybe @borisjohnson as I'm cool with you sleeping with him if it means a green light for Ibiza.

"But I'm now OK with women my age as long as they have a strong pension scheme in place.

"You must like to travel with Ryanair or easyJet and be grateful for speedy boarding and stay in 3 or 4 star hotels that we get for nothing cuz I got followers on the gram.

"You're not allowed to give up your job as we need to share the mortgage... You will need to spend the summer in Ibiza and the winter in Butlins."

Oh dear, it seems the Ibiza-based hospitality entrepreneur has been hit hard by Covid-19 travel restrictions.

Continuing to parody his original post, Wayne wrote: "I don't care if you're on OnlyFans. We need the money.

"It's OK if you don't go gym, greasy food cool and bloated belly good."

"Closing the ad, he wrote: "Your geography does not matter as it's unlikely we will be travelling for a while .. any woman with a pulse suits #wifeywhereyouat."

Well, form an orderly queue then ladies, I guess.
