Guy Plants Dildo In Blissfully Ignorant Mate's Bag At Airport Security

Guy Plants Dildo In Blissfully Ignorant Mate's Bag At Airport Security

To people that go abroad regularly, the whole routine at the airport becomes like second nature. No liquids, separate your electrical items, don't carry dangerous weapons or drugs - you know, the normal stuff.

But to those of us who have never been on a plane - it can seem like an absolute minefield, and probably quite a daunting landmark in your life.

Martin Barnes, 54, decided to take his very first trip on a plane this year. When his pals all decided to go to Benidorm for one of their 30th birthdays, he was pretty much putting himself in the hands of his friends to help get through all the tricky technicalities, before being able to enjoy the benefits of the airport lounge.

Unfortunately for poor Martin, one of his friends didn't fancy making it that straightforward.

His mate Ben Rix had other ideas.

The 31-year-old painter and decorator spotted the opportunity to stitch his pal up. The worst thing about the whole thing is that it was completely premeditated - having spotted a potential weakness in his knowledge of airport procedure, Ben planted not one but two little surprises in his hand luggage before they went through airport security.

And - spoiler alert - Martin's reaction is priceless.

Speaking to LADbible, Ben explained his plot: "We went out for my brother-in-law's 30th birthday and it was Martin's first time abroad so I thought I'll get him with this prank."

The prank involved planting a bottle of water in his carry-on bag - but that wasn't the main event, the water was merely bait so that the security officer would find the huge dildo that Ben had also planted in there.

Admitting he'd taken full advantage of his slightly green mate, Ben said: "He got pulled aside because I put a bottle of water in his bag knowing it would show up. He doesn't know the set up at the airport, I wanted the woman at the bag checking area to pull the dildo out."

Obviously very liberal and unfazed by such items, the woman at the security desk clocked it, but kindly, to save Martin's embarrassment, left it where it was - it's not against airport policy, is it?

But Ben wasn't satisfied. After they got through security Martin had his suspicions about the mystery bottle of water. Obviously, concerned he'd be framed for some awful crime, he tried to get to the bottom of it, all while Ben filmed him.

Ben added: "He asked me if I put the water in his bag. It was hard trying not to laugh, I said to him if someone put water in your bag you better check the rest of it just in case."

Martin nervously looks through his bag, saying that the airport staff would have known if someone had tampered with his bag when it went through the scanning machine. The sheer horror on his face makes it clear he had absolutely no idea what was going on - neither did his poor 18-year-old daughter who was sat next to him.

After disposing of the offending item in the airport toilets, Martin had no other words than the fact that he will be taking revenge.

"Payback is going to be good," he said. "It's Ben's stag soon."
