Son Glues Dad’s Stuff To The Ceiling And Adds More For Each Day He Doesn't Notice

The TV remote was the final straw

Some might call this top bants, others might call it mental torture, but one guy has played the mother of all pranks on his dad.

In the cruellest of tricks, he decided to day-by-day make his dad think he was losing his mind, by hiding one of his belongings, adding another for each day that he didn't notice as punishment.

He didn't just hide them anywhere though... this evil genius decided to get a bit creative, and glued them to the ceiling.

Day one of the saga.

Thankfully, he documented the whole thing and posted the photos on the internet - because, why else would you glue your dad's stuff to the ceiling?

Reddit user SeamanTheSailor shared the photos of some of his poor dad's most prized possessions stuck above him.

He posted, in some sort of strange silent ransom, saying: "I stuck my dad's glasses to the ceiling. For every day he doesn't notice I will add another of his possessions."

One guy responded, saying: "Well how is he going to see? His glasses are up there."

Showing a glint of humanity, the original poster replied: "They're his readers, I'm not that evil."

Phew.

But that was just the beginning.

He posted again: "Day two of sticking my dad's possessions to the ceiling until he notices. This is his phone clip."

Keeping track of his daily postings, other users of the social media site were 'glued' to their screens, wondering what invaluable item it would be that would tip the poor man over the edge.

On day three, he went with a single shoe - but the issue with that is that he most likely owns another pair.

Things have started to get serious at this stage.

What item could go missing that would make you scream 'NOOOOO' up to the heavens and pray for a sign... that's right. The TV remote. The most elusive of all the household items - and the most treasured.

It all must have got too much for this guy's dad when, on day four, the remote got 'ceilinged'.

Day five's instalment was simply the left over adhesives he'd used to trick his dad - he'd been sussed.

He posted the defeat, writing: "Well boys it was a good run, but all things must come to an end."

The remote. Too far, Tony.

Adding: "He called me a cheeky c***, then we had a beer together and I [showed] him all the comments on my posts."

He thanked his adoring fans, along with a little explanation of his techniques: "Thanks for the support. Also, to everyone asking how I stuck his things up there, I used Blu Tack and some command strips for the shoe."
