A cop caught on camera crashing his car into a cyclist because he was distracted by his phone told the injured man 'my bad'.
There's perhaps nothing more infuriating than going on Snapchat and seeing some moron filming their steering wheel as they drive along listening to some trash music.

And this incident, which was filmed and uploaded to YouTube on Thursday and has since gained over a million views, shows how potentially dangerous these scenarios can be in terms of distracted drivers using their phones - and how no-one, even police officers, are immune to the temptation of using their phones while driving.
The video, filmed on a GoPro camera attached to the cyclist's helmet, shows him waiting stationary at a junction when the police car turns into the road without the officer behind the wheel looking what is ahead of him and ploughing straight into the startled cyclist.
Even the cyclist's shocked shouts of 'whoa, whoa' can't warn the police officer in his department SUV, who only seems to notice the cyclist once he's driven into him and knocked him to the ground.

While the cyclist is understandably furious, he shows considerable restraint in confronting the officer, immediately asking him: "Why the fuck were you on your phone officer?
"Why were you texting, how could you be texting?"
The officer replies: "I wasn't texting I was on my phone," but concedes that he was in the wrong with a simple: "I know, it was my bad," when the cyclist points out that it isn't a good idea to be on the phone while driving either way.
The exasperated cyclist adds: "Officer, holy fuck dude."
In the video, the cyclist explains that Missouri state troopers later arrived to file the accident report to prevent the obvious conflict of interest of the officer filling out his own report, before paramedics came to check the cyclist over.

He said: "Paramedics came and checked me out but I did a refusal for the ER [emergency room] because I was basically just scraped and bruised.
"I am feeling incredibly sore right now so I'm going to get checked out by a doctor in the next day or two."
The cyclist said the police officer was breathalyzed at the scene as part of normal procedure and has now reportedly been suspended with pay while the incident is investigated.

The annoyed cyclist added: "The bike is most likely toast."
