Losing a family member can be incredibly difficult to deal with. It's upsetting because you know that person won't be a part of any big event in the future. But one dad wanted to make sure that wasn't the case for his son's 16th birthday.
Chandler Crow has posted the amazing story of what her dad had planned before he passed away. She says: "So today is my little brothers 16th birthday, and his first birthday without our dad. But, dad was always filled with surprises."
When Chandler took Johnathon to his guitar lesson a month before the big day, one of the instructors pulled her aside and told her there was something he needed to see.

She writes: "When she showed me I just dropped to my knees, I just couldn't believe it. But I had to keep it a secret until his birthday."
So, on Johnathon's birthday, he was driven to the music centre with a blindfold and was surprised with this:
Not only was the birthday boy presented with a touching card that was signed by his dad, but after much suspense, he was presented with a phenomenal V-shaped electric guitar. Johnathon is clearly shocked before breaking down in tears.

The video has been viewed more than four million times, and the post has been liked by more than 60,000 people.
Supporters joined in on wishing Johnathon a very special birthday.
Chandler writes: "A big thank you goes out to the Port Huron Music Center, who helped keep my dad's dream alive. Happy 16th birthday buddy. Dad is so proud of you. I love you more than words can describe."
She says both her and Johnathon are thrilled at seeing their story go viral, and Johnny hopes he might get to meet Ellen DeGeneres.
Even though the thought of something coming from beyond the grave is usually a scary idea, it couldn't be more beautiful and touching.

What a legend of a dad to have all this planned before his death.
Let's hope Johnathon absolutely slays that guitar.
