Expert Shares Why Being Really Into Football Could Be A Bad Sign For Your Relationship

It's coming home - but will you kick your partner out before it gets there?

If you watched the football last night, chances are you've woken up this morning in some kind of delirium - and perhaps a hangover - given that England booked themselves a remarkably stress-free slot in the semi-finals of Euro 2020.

However, if all you're thinking about today is the next game, or just football in general, that could be bad news for you and your partner.

That's according to etiquette expert Anna Bey anyway, who said in a recent video that having a partner who's only interested in football could be trouble for your relationship.

In a video - brutally titled 7 Signs You're Dating A Loser - Bey claims that someone who just follows football and drinks beer lacks depth for a relationship, and that you should be worried about it.

At one point, she says: "You're dating a loser if he lacks depth - has no other interest other than watches football, drinks beer, plays video games and watches porn

"Obviously this is generalisation, stereotyping etc. It's just a metaphor, in this case - this could be translated in all sizes, shapes or forms in reality. All I'm saying is it's about a man who lacks depth."

She adds: "You don't really want to be with someone who is less intelligent than you.

just think about what are you going to be talking to this man about for the rest of your life if you become married.

"I think life is too short to waste with the wrong person, make sure you find somebody you have things in common with."

At the beginning of the video Bey clarifies that, for her, the world loser means is a 'low-quality' man, which is to say 'any form of man that might not be worthy of your time, your effort and your love whatsoever'.

She continues: "Sadly in our society, a lot of women are being desperate.

"A lot of women are wasting too much time on the wrong type of man and in this video we are stopping with that behaviour as of right now.

"You need to be aware that of course, there might be some things that are going to sound like the partner you are with now.

"I'm not telling you to leave him, but maybe you should start thinking about setting boundaries and your own self-worth."

The other signs that you may be dating a loser include: a man expecting you to go 50/50 in the relationship and split the bill with him, your partner calling you clingy, and your partner being unreliable.

Bey also lists ghosting and lacking basic gentleman skills as a surefire sign they're a loser.

She rounds out the video by pointing at manipulation and being a party boy as further reasons to consider your future together.
