Hero Lad Died After Pushing Female Friend Out Of The Way Of Oncoming Car

A young lad tragically died after saving a female friend from an oncoming car.

Lee Henry, 13, was crossing a road with a group of friends in Coolock near Dublin when the incident took place. He was rushed to a Temple Street Children's Hospital but died shortly afterwards.

There isn't much information at this time, but a man in his mid-20s has been arrested and is still being questioned at Finglas Garda Station, according to the Mirror.

Tributes to the teen have flooded his Facebook page, with many people expressing their sadness at this loss of life at such a young age. His friend, Sophie Brohoon, wrote: "You didn't deserve this I love you so much RIP Lee."

Keith Burke added: "Rest in peace brother will always remember our memories."
