A young lad who had a rare type of cancer managed to marry the love of his life just before he died.
JT (Jonathan) Thomas (30) and his wife, Sian, were married for just one day before he passed away. Originally they were due to marry a few weeks later, but when they realised that JT probably wouldn't make it they brought the ceremony forward.
He later died in her arms.

Speaking to The Mirror, Sian said: "I can still see the smile on his face when he knew he'd said all the words in the wedding service.
"His vows were some of the last words he said to me.
"He was so brave. He was conscious for the rest of the day but went to sleep and didn't wake up."

Describing the events of the day, she continued: "He couldn't have chemotherapy but that meant he was able to be at home for those last months.
"Jonathan badly wanted us to get married before he died. The wedding was booked for a couple of weeks later but he took a turn for the worse and we knew he wouldn't make it.
"We rang the registrar and they said they could marry us the next day. His parents and family and friends were there - it was very special."
To mark their first wedding anniversary on October 22, Sian and others are currently raising money in his memory by walking from their hometown of Merthyr to Celtic Park. They set off on Saturday and estimate that it will take around two weeks.
