Lad Buys Used Record And Finds Secret Heartbreaking Message Hidden Inside

Right in the feels.

When Reddit user, Muctur, bought a used record - he probably wasn't expecting that the purchase came with a whole load of extra feels.

He purchased the copy of Soundgarden's Superunknown (FYI, an awesome album) and hidden inside was a letter from the previous owner's mother. It explained exactly what had happened in order for her to be selling them, check it out.

It reads: "Dear Collector -

"Just in case you want to know where this record is coming from:

"I'm Mark's mother - Mark left us in 2002 - he suffered a heart attack at age 39 while running in the Oregon coastal mountains - the only consolation we have is that he died in a beautiful place doing what he loved most, running, music and of course his son, Kai (Mark was an ocean surfer) - Mark collected this music in the 80th while attending college - I would ask him on occasion when he slepped[sic] all this music home (2000 cd + over 600 vinyl LP's!) "What do you want me to do with all this music" if something should happen to you. - "Listen to it, Mom" he would say - well, I did listen to a few but now it is time to share them - I am doing the best I can - doing research, listing, shipping etc. - but it is a good therapy for me to see this music being shared all over the world - and the $$ from it will go toward's Kai's education - thank you for your support - and when you play it - play it loud for Mark!

"Cheers, Sabine"

I really feel sorry for anyone who's lost a child, and fair play to Sabine she tried listening to the music. However, I genuinely think that putting the money made towards the cost of his son's education is the best thing she could possibly do.

The rare record cost $127 (around £87). When other Redditors began flooding the post with messages, the original poster responded with the following quote: "This record now has sentimental value, and I just got it.

"Definitely the most valuable record in my collection now."

He even posted a picture of the record being played.

If you're interested in buying any of the records, unbelievably the internet has outdone itself yet again and Sherlock Holmes'd the information.

Here's a link to the website where Sabine is selling the collection. Included are David Bowie, Wiseblood and Swans. You can really tell that Mark was the kind of guy who not only had awesome taste in music, but knew exactly what he liked too.

If you buy one, play it loud.

RIP Mark.
