Piers Morgan Slams 'Love Island' Contestants For Their Hideaway Antics

The Good Morning Britain host branded the couple's behaviour 'creepy and repulsive'

Piers Morgan has had his say on this year's Love Islanders having sex - or 'having bits' as he calls it ('doing bits' to everybody else) - in the Love Island villa. And he's not best pleased.

If there's a debate to be had, you can pretty much guarantee that generic angry dad Piers Morgan will be throwing his hat into the ring - invariably on Good Morning Britain alongside a cringing Susanna Reid.

And Wednesday morning's show was no different. The day after Tuesday night's episode of Love Island was aired showing Wes and Megan promoting their status in the 'Do Bits Society' during a night in the villa's Hideaway, Piers took to the nation's screens to have a good old rant in classic Piers fashion.

"The whole idea of these idiots now 'having bits' on TV is killing our brains," he said, unsuccessfully grappling with the baffling idea of 'doing bits' - which is essentially just any level of sexual activity.

"Doing bits, Piers, doing bits," Susanna Reid said, correcting him, "Not having bits - we've all got bits."

"So they have bits and they're doing bits, is that it?" Piers mocked in his best dumbed-down Essex accent.

"I've got bits, I'm doing bits, yeah? Yeah? Love Island, yeah? Got bits, doing bits," he added.

He's clearly not the biggest fan of the show.

Last night, Wes and Megan - who's riled a lot of people up with her antics on the show up to this point, partly by stealing her new partner Wes away from Laura behind her back - had 'two rounds" of sex during their Hideaway holiday.

New boy Idris asked Wes how many times the couple had gone, to which Wes replied: "Two, one this morning as well.

"Bits were most definitely done.

"You either go hard or you go home, don't you? You don't get to go in the Hideaway that often."

Piers impersonated this particular quote from Wes after showing the footage on Good Morning Britain in his best unintelligent Brummy accent - perhaps forgetting that Wes, from Staffordshire, is a nuclear design engineer and is unable to divulge details about his work because of its confidentiality (all at the age of 20, by the way).

He went on to mock the girls talking to Megan about her time in the Hideaway with Wes, repeating the phrase: "You look fresh babes," in a voice that sends a bit of a shiver down the spine.

Megan told the girls in last night's show: "I am really really happy. I feel super loved up.

"It was really emotional. I feel so happy with him. I've been single for two years and I've finally found what I'm looking for."

As long as they're not hurting anybody - who can complain? Everyone knows Piers will be watching anyway.
