A Chicken Nugget Festival Is Hitting Melbourne This Weekend

There are plenty of fast food restaurants dotted around Australia that you're never really without access to cheap, quick chicken nuggets.

But usually you'll have to pick your favourite out of a handful of options and that one might not be closest to you. Well, imagine being in an area where there are so many nugget varieties that you don't even know what to do with yourself.

Well, Melbournians do we have a treat for you.

Welcome to Thornbury, a spot located on High Street in Northcote, is hosting a goddamn chicken nugget festival this weekend.

You're probably wondering just how many varieties of nugget there could be and, believe us, there are plenty.

According to the event page, some of the things you'll be able to whack in your gob include donugs (donut-nugget hybrids), vegan nuggets, a nugget burger, a nugget pizza and 'The Godfather' which is a chicken nugget sandwich which, wait for it...has bloody chicken schnitzel as the buns.

So if you're keen to see how many chicken nuggets you can eat in a single day then head on over to the festival and soak it up. There were more than 10,000 people who went to last year's event so you'll have to get in early to make sure nothing runs out.

It'll run from midday until 10pm Saturday October 26 and Sunday October 27.
