Gin has been enjoying a massive craze at the moment, with people all around the world lapping up every tipple there is to be had.

Whether it's a stock standard dry gin or something fruity with lots of exotic botanicals, it's certainly a fan favourite on a hot day.

So that's why it's perfect timing for Aldi Australia to announce that a gin that can change colours will soon be stocked on their shelves.

The Scottish Gin Society

The British Aldi has been holding onto the McQueen Forest Fruits Colour Changing Gin for a while now but thankfully for us they've relinquished it to the Land Down Under.

It'll be available as a special buy for $49.99 on October 31.

According to The Scottish Gin Society: "McQueen Forest Fruits is more than a great fruity gin - it's a sensory experience!

"The gin is a vibrant blue colour in the bottle, but it dramatically changes colour to a tasteful rose pink when ice and mixer are added.

The Scottish Gin Society

"An experience which has been described as 'magical' by the many who have tried it.

"The 'magic' comes from the blue petals of the Asian butterfly flower, which change from a pale sapphire to pink when its PH levels are altered."

Ah, so that's how they do it.

Inside the bottle are Juniper berries, Angelica, Cassia, grapefruit, limes, raspberries and Butterfly Pea and the company says the colours that you see are 100 per cent natural.
