Wine is great. We're not here to beat around the bush here. The alcoholic liquid derived from grapes is bloody delicious and an excellent tipple to have on virtually any occasion.

Stressful day at work? Wine. Kid just said it's first word? Wine. Boyfriend dumped you for the third time? Loads of wine (responsibly)

While there are wineries all over Australia to lap up, there's nothing like a good old fashion wine festival to get your tastebuds tingling.

Well, that's why we're pleased to announce that Brisbane is hosting a goddamn rosé festival next month.

Rosé Revolution sold out last time it headed to the Queensland capital and they're expecting big things for the November 16 event as well.

There will be more than 30 international wineries on show during the festival, with growers keen to get their drop out into the market.

Cuttings Wine Co's David Boneis will be one of them and he's told the Courier Mail that the rosé market has exploded by around 150 per cent year-on-year.

"We've brought in styles that are quite unique or interesting" Bone says. "There'll be lots of difference in terms of styles and colours and that's sort of the point of the event is explaining the depth and breadth of rosé."

Tickets go on sale on October 9 and you'll be able to get VIP packages as well.
